men all across America and - in the case of soldiers stationed overseas - around the world. They were the successors to the lurid
pulps which had enticed readers in earlier decades; like them, the men's magazines promised tales of blood and sex.
The magazine covers depicted within this website are colorful, rude, shocking, sleazy, and often downright fascinating. They are not politically correct; and they are definitely Not Safe For Work.
